Quick recording of a set I did the other night at the San Francisco Ballet event. We were set up outside on the big balcony of the Opera House that overlooks the city building. The evening was nice and the vibe was right. Put these tracks together off the cuff, ended up liking how it sounded, and want to share with y’all with a proper home recording version. Connor of Dem Suite and DJ Spinnerty are on Team Bad Babysitter, an AIDS/Lifecycle cycling team that has set a goal of raising $14,000 for the SF AIDS Foundation. This is one of many fundraisers Team Bad Babysitter is throwing before their 545 mile ride from SF to LA in June 2011. Come join us for an afternoon in the Mission filled with good food, drinks, music and art. Part of the afternoon’s activities include a raffle and a silent art auction featuring exclusive works by artists Joshua Rampage & Eric Otto, among others. Team Badbabysitter is David Nichols, Sergio Flores, Dan Spinnerty & Connor O’Sullivan.
Dem Suite’s Kickstarter goal has been reached for the new CD. Thanks to all the contributors! We should have the physical copies in hand in a month or so. Stay tuned and thanks again!
Kickstarter is hot right now and we ain’t exactly rollin’ in dough here at Trazmick, so Dem Suite is running a Kickstarter campaign to fund the pressing of their second full-length record. If all goes well we’ll press some nice digipak CDs. The artwork is finished, lookin great and we’re ready to go if we get enough contributions. Its kinda like a pre-order.
